Van Halen Dubstep
Boy this takes me back!!!
If you’ve never heard any Van Halen, then the first 2 albums are ESSENTIAL for your collection, absolute classics with Dave Lee Roth.
They went all shit when he left and Sammy Hagar came in!
This is probably their most famous track ever, JUMP which appeared on a later album, 3rd or 4th release, cannot remember which one.
Anyway it’s a good version dubstepped.
This is phenomenal stuff!
Dubstep from Greece!
Hail the new Prince of Greek Dubstep – XSEOS!
I discovered this through the King of Greek Dubstep, FLeCK!
Listen to the tracks and then download the mix!
Grabbed this from Datsik and it’s another great mix by his partner in crime Excision!
This is a great track and we’re honoured once again that somebody decides to name it after our blog.
We had the spiritual version from Celt Islam and here now is the duurty version!
This dude is doing some absolutley terrific stuff, just read and then listen, clearly influenced by Datsik:
Messy Jesse aka (Jesse Hoffman) is from Seattle and is a Solo Dubstep/Glitch-Hop Producer. he uses Fl Studio, NI Massive for sound design, Artillery2 for fx and a monome 64 as his midi controller.
Here’s what he says:
I started manipulating sound when I was 13. Started off just cutting parts out of songs I didn’t like (ie super long intro’s, outro’s, intermission’s, whatever the case). I wanted more and became addicted. My alias back then was Noiz Violation, the Electro/ Experimental music was crap, I was on the learning curve but whatever it didn’t matter, I was creating something. I didn’t go to a school for music, I learned from what I had in front of me (forums, videos) mainly trial and error.
I love producing as it’s more fun than working at a grocery store (which is what I do currently) and personally producing is all I want to do most of the time.
