phpeiAR5m

It is not secret that most of the best mashupers from all over the world are brazilian.
like soccer players, or samba dancers, they are sooo full of flavor.. a unique style; blending the brazilian own sounds versus mainstream pop/rock songs

We have talked about my personal two favorites before.
BRUTAL REDNECK and CHERNOBYL
and i want to save them for later posts as LATINO RESISTE goes BRAZIL!!!! .

SO thanks to my dear friend Fabiano Moreira who runs BOOTIE RIO, we have la creme de la creme of brazilian mash ups

To begin:
FAROFF
Faroff is the name of the musical project of Leo Bursztyn, former songwriter and guitarist from the brazilian band Móveis Coloniais de Acaju.

When he had to leave the group in 2005 to study Masters in Economics at Harvard, Leo discovered musical collages in a way to continue making music without partners. He produces audio and video mashups, combining in a single song, artists from different genres, always on a drapery swinging. More than bringing explosive tracks, his set is an audiovisual experience, with edited videos of songs used were designed.

The producer is known worldwide for the quality of his productions, which earned him performances in Boston, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro, playing in the most important events of mashups. Its passage by the Rio de Janeiro is included on a world tour with dates in versions of Bootie Boston, New York and Berlin, and the party mashup Mix Mix Bang Gang, in Paris. Faroff is currently a resident of Bootie Boston, and his videos are a real phenomenon on YouTube, where they have already exceeded 500,000 visits.
