DJ Broken Record – Cumbiahtonical Volume 2

Last week one of the albums I was anticipating most was released. After my exposure to the first Cumbiahtonical EP by DJ Broken Record I needed more of this unique next level style of cumbia and moombahton productions. DJ Broken Record hit the spot with my taste in music. First with Philip Glass and then Clint Mansell, both whom I admire greatly. To hear DJ Broken Records unique cumbiahtonical interpretations of these composers was inspirational in it’s own right. Last time DJ Umb covered him here on Generation Bass now the honor is bestowed upon me. If you’re interested in next-level stuff then you will more than likely be quite pleased with Cumbiahtonical Volume 2.

This time around he taps into Philip Glass even deeper with the likes of Ochestre Noir, Charlie Clouser and Alex and Jonsi. Also there’s a sweet rebajada remix from Brokenface (another face to DJ Broken Record).

Have a listen to the next level of cumbia and moombahton combined with DJ Broken Record’s cumbiahtonical. Listen for the sonidera inside jokes.
