Really cool attempt here to make an album covering an multitude of genres from DnB, Electro-Swing, Transnational Bass, Balkan, Hip Hop, Ambient, Downtempo, Funky Breaks and some Manu Chao samples thrown in for good measure.
Mr Breadstick says:
“Each track is different, like every day of my life… the journey evolving! enjoy”
Can’t really argue with that, defintely worth exploring.
Stand-out for me is the album opener “Clandestino”, a film-noire, spaghetti western, Ennio Morriconesque Dubstep soundtrack!
He finds himself still to select a bit of everything, from Trip Hop to Jungle, by FunkyBreaks all’Electroswing, all mixed with taste, with an ear to the religious quality that bit of popular politics made of scratch live session, which is always good!
You can call him Mr. Breadstick, translation with which signs his original productions or remixes.
