Dany F is a virtuoso. I’ve been addicted to his music since the very first time I pressed ‘play’ at one of his tracks labelled ‘deep cumbia’ and I still can’t get enough of it. Dany is a producer who keeps impressing me not only because of his visionary approach to music but also because of the skillful elaboration of his sound. Here is a master at work who truly knows his craft and is an experimenter at the same time. Travesía MMXIV is the new album he released last week. All 13 tracks are excellent examples of Dany’s specialty: combining the rhythmical grooves of transnational bass with the warm, dreamy sounds of deep house and here and there some acid influences. And ‘San Antonio’, produced in collaboration with Bleepolar, is a deliciously polyrhythmic, pacifico-inspired tune which seamlessly changes between 3ball prehispanico, deep tech-house and a delicious triplet groove. We first highlighted Javier on the scene in or about 2010 and we believe 2013 is the year when he makes massive strides to show what a mega-unique producer he is. He is one of my names to watch in 2013 and if you’re familiar with his work already, you will understand this already, if you are not familiar with his work, by Feb 2013, you will be. He is gonna unlock some absolute gems in 2013!!!]]> http://www.generationbass.com/2012/12/27/one-of-the-producers-of-2013-javier-estrada/feed/ 0 Túumben Tuukul – It’s the end of the world as we know it & I feel fine!!! http://www.generationbass.com/2012/12/20/tuumben-tuukul-its-the-end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it-i-feel-fine/ http://www.generationbass.com/2012/12/20/tuumben-tuukul-its-the-end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it-i-feel-fine/#comments Thu, 20 Dec 2012 09:47:26 +0000 http://generationbass.com/?p=62011 artworks-000036604566-evsx1e-crop
Excellent free EP just dropped to celebrate the end of the world! The 21/12/12 is believed to be the end of the world but actually adapting the calendar of the ancient and extinct Mayan civilization of our time leaves out the possibility both in time and in circumstances of destruction, however if that culture phenomena predicted happen as natural floods, severe storms, earthquakes, increased solar activity and galactic alignment but mostly … they believed …. these things would have to generate a change in behavior and thinking in humans of this time to generate awareness of their environment and the stars. This little piece of digital audio is a modern tribute we pay to the ancient Mayan gods for their wisdom and knowledge that we left printed in their palaces, in their writings and in their graves. Music inspired by a change of mind, a new mind “Túumben Tuukul”]]> http://www.generationbass.com/2012/12/20/tuumben-tuukul-its-the-end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it-i-feel-fine/feed/ 0 Dj RogelioHuerta : Cuauhtémoc(ÁguilaQueCae) http://www.generationbass.com/2012/12/02/dj-rogeliohuerta-cuauhtemocaguilaquecae/ http://www.generationbass.com/2012/12/02/dj-rogeliohuerta-cuauhtemocaguilaquecae/#comments Sun, 02 Dec 2012 13:20:10 +0000 http://generationbass.com/?p=61470 vestimenta-prehispanica
