Oudaden are Beber blues muso’s who were inspired by Nass El Ghiwane, Jil Jilala and Lemchaheb.  They started in the 70’s alongside other notables of  that era, Inzanzaren, Archach and Inrzaf.

They sang in ‘Tachelhit’ (largest spoken Berber language in Southern Morocco) about the cultural discrimination suffered by Morocco’s Berber population.

They are probably my favourite of the blues bands from that era and JUSTIN ADAMS (Robert Plant’s guitarist with Strange Sensation) is also a big fan.
