Just got this from ma man OMARI: This is the ‘The Midnite Walk Riddim’, the first album to be released on Cross Seas Entertainment which is now available for digital download directly from the Cross Seas website

The Midnite Walk Riddim features a total of 14 up-and-coming artists from the UK, US and Nigeria, and is the first instalment in a series of riddims to be released on Cross Seas Entertainment.  The London-based label, run by the Montserrat native Omari Riley (Blee), aims to prove that quality dancehall is not the exclusive preserve of Jamaica.

Aside from the main Dancehall riddim, the album also features both a soca version with contributions from ‘Soca Deva’ Jadine and ‘Mr I could never be you’ Big Drew.  This is almost certainly a first within dancehall culture and backs up Cross Seas’ intention of reaching out to as many individuals as possible.
