Ok must give our big apologies to our buddy sHack aka ELITE FORCE & ZODIAC CARTEL for the lateness of this post as we’ve had this stuff for a couple of weeks but only just got around to posting!

So here’s loads of recent goodies from the KING of Breakbeats U & A label:

Brisbane-based crew, The Loops of Fury, had a stellar 2009. The dynamic duo shot to attention with their huge ‘Flick A Switch’ single which reached the Beatport Top 3 and spent a cool 2 months inside the Top 30 making it one of U&A’s biggest sellers to date.

Since then they have remixed Dirty Super Car (for Plump DJs new ‘Grand Hotel’ label), Mike Hulme, Meat Katie, Dylan Rhymes & Elite Force and delivered not one, but two awesome slices of next-level electro-techno as singles for U&A. The first of these, ‘SOAP’ is out this week on Beatport with a fine, fine pair of remixes from Peo de Pitte and Hatiras (from the legendary Hatrax label).

The boys have also put together a 30-minute promo DJ mix which showcases some of their finest productions alongside some of their future classics and live mashups.

Here’s what he says:

Something very different for you here and a project I had a lot of fun (and head-scratching) in putting together for The Remix, Eddy Temple-Morris’s excellent long-running show ‘The Remix’ on XFM.

The brief was simple – to create a 10-minute mix featuring a minimum of 10 of your ALL-TIME favourite songs (from any genre). Once I started to get my head around it I was gutted by how many tracks I wanted to include but failed to find the time or space … as it was I managed to fit 30 of my all-time favourite tracks in there. Download link is at the foot of the tracklist …

This smiley faced chappie is Peo De Pitte who has been setting dancefloors alight with his remixes this year.  We previously posted his RIVERSIDE bootleg which recently hit the 30,000 download mark!!

Here’s some info about him:

Peo De Pitte aka Peo Häggström hails from the city of Stockholm, Sweden. After moving to London Peo have also been running his very own label FlatOut Records, the main home for releases of his two aliases Peo de Pitte and Haggstrom.

His trademark combination of rare groove beats and cutting edge synth action has resulted in making Peo one of the most exciting new producers to emerge. With remixes and releases on labels including U&A, Fingerlickin’, Global Underground, LOT49 and Champion Records it is no surprise that he has won huge support worldwide.

In just one year he managed to have exclusive mixsets on both Radio1 and Kiss100 UK as well as massive support from Sinden, Laidback Luke, Fake Blood, Crookers, Jamie Fanatic, Loose Cannons, Trevor Loveys, MJ Cole, Calvertron, Matt Darey, James Zabiela, Kissy Sell Out, Stonebridge, Micky Slim, Elite Force, Evil 9, Foamo, Andy George, Nom De Strip, Stupid Fresh, Matt Darey, Plump DJ’s, Afrojack, DJ Icey, Tittsworth, Meat Katie, Utah Saints, NAPT and others…

Here’s his take on the old classic track “Breathe” from French Electronic trio Télépopmusik. “Breathe” was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best DanceRecording.

Fake Blood – Peo de Pitte is def a name to watch. He’s does some really good stuff recently.
Utah Saints – Sounds Great! Will road test! Big fans of Peo de Pitte!
Nom De Strip – Wicked tune, full support!
Lee Mortimer – I like Peo de Pitte’s stuff a lot. His beats bang hard.
Meat Katie – Heavy 😉
Lee Coombs – Slammin!
