I’m very pleased that my bro’ CELT ISLAM is finally gettig a chance to shine @ GLASTONBURY, the world’s most famous festival!
Not just on any stage either, he’ll be playing on the BBC INTRODUCING Stage which is quite an honour!
You can read all about it below.
I discovered my bro’ around 5 years ago and introduced him to the world on my first ever commercial compilation release way back then, BGT Buddha Lounge.
So this is like an added confirmation for me too that I was right all along. I believed in him anyway from the first time I heard his music and ‘success’ or ‘making it’ is all ‘relative’ anyway. The fact that he’s getting a chance to shine on such a big stage with his “SUFI DUB” is a huge achievement in my book!
Anyways, Celt is chuffed to bits too and so as a present to all you Generation Bassers’, he’s come bearing gifts.
He’s giving away the following tracks for a limited 100 downloads:
1. Appear as you are, be as you appear.
2. Moments in Time
Celt Islam is to play BBC Introducing stage Glastonbury 2010 presented by BBC Asian Network’s golden boy, Bobby Friction.
