Amazzzing Stereotyp remix here below, check it out, KILLA.
Here’ the PR:
About a year ago four Swiss brothers smashed it with a couple of EP’s featuring heavyweights Sizzla, Cutty Ranks and underground legends Oddatee and Sensational. BBC1′s host Mary Anne (we’re missing you!) Hobbs took notice and dropped the debut on her show – positioning Talen amidst the cream of the Bass scene.
Instead of basking in the limelight and peacefully riding out the wave, the duo holed up in the studio for another year to create an even thicker package -Comic Book is the end result! The EP features the vocal talent of Lady Saw,Turbulence and Ward 21. Remix duty is handled by the Bass mafia international: Stereotyp, Kalbata, Robot Koch, Reverse Engineering, Son Of Kick, Filewile, I-Wolf and King Aron.
The package covers the chew-your-bass-cabinets-off type of Future Dancehall, explores detail filled Post Step and of course touches on some sounds that are just impossible to categorize!
The vinyl includes all 3 Talen originals and remixes by Robot Koch, Son Of Kick and Kalbata. The rest of the package is available only as download (included with Vinyl 12”)

Chllngr – Mash up & Future Dancehall
“People Dem Shouting” is the first of hopefully many collaborations between De Tropix and CHLLNGR. De Tropix hails from London and CHLLNGR relocated from California to Copenhagen this past year.
De Tropix consists of two main members; Singer songwriter Cherry & Producer/DJ/Vocalist Damon. To date they have been busy in the studio working on their debut album & 2010 has seen De Tropix duo Cherry & Damon working on exciting individual projects. Whilst Damon has been producing & DJ’ing for various artists around the world, Cherry teamed up with M.I.A on her tracks “”XXXO” and “TEQKILLA” as well as other artists due for release in 2011.
The total output of CHLLNGR ranges from straight ahead dub to nocturnal soundscapes that are much harder to pinpoint, stylistically or geographically. So far CHLLNGR has remixed such acts as The XX, Primary 1 and in the next few weeks he will release the first remix for drummer/ artist Zach HIll (Hella, Marnie Stern) CHLLNGR is busy working on his first full length “Haven” to be released in early 2011 on Green Owl.
Doctor Echo did the final mix with his masterful ability of shaping frequencies and tweaking knobs.
Here is the first collaboration that I did with Ticklah (Antibalas, Mark Ronson & The Business INTL) when I was in NYC last month. We had a really good time with this one, enjoy!
J-Wow – Smoothstep
Very strange and unexpected track from the Buraka Som Sistema frontman with vocals by a woman who loves to wear fake beards when she goes out shopping, surreal!
A Song I did while i stopped by the Rbma in London 2010 with Sui Zhen singing and May Roosevelt on Theremin… not mastered or anything fancy like that…
FestaBeats – Baile Funk
They are DJS’ Andre Pipipi & Flavio Quest and oOf course they’re from Brazil…..lol..
BUT man they’re like the DJ CREMOSO of Baile Funk Beats.
This is cool, cool stuff. Especially the Granada and XX tracks.
Really uplifting, smiley music 😉
Jon Kwest – Moombahton
Our matey Jon Kwest is working on a d3333p Moombahton EP for us, which should be ready for release at some point next year, it’s gonna be d3333p!
Moombahtron – Moombahton
Here’s moombahtron with a great moombahton version of the infamous Chase & Status tune, which helped the Indian Dubstep scene sky-rocket for a while.
The first time I uploaded it wouldn’t let me what the fuck! haha
Okay so this dubstep tune is an anthem, and I wanted to try to make a moombahcore tune based around something people knew, so I could flip it on em’
Lighning EyeZ- Moombahton
Really xcellent stuff here by this dude based in the U S of A.
Wildlife – Dancehall
“WILDLIFE! releases his new EP “BUCKUP” on Phree Music.
“BUCKUP” rolls across dancehall’s golden eras, with legends Sammy Dread and Major Mackerel re-licking some of their biggest tunes that had the scenes on lock in the 80’s and 90’s, plus new era vanguard Terry Lynn paying tribute to the times flipping a touch of Ini Kamoze’s “How You Living” into her own contemporary genre-bending monster with a double jeopardy attack.
Spike Devil Disco – Raverton
A Raverton version of The Prodigy’s Smack my bitch up mashed with something else with a cumbia beat too!
