Enough with all the powerdrill step, i’m here to post some Dubstep tunes on a more chilled vibe.
So over the coming weeks expect something to listen to when you’re not in the mood for raving.
Maybe with some other stuff that I like that’s not strictly Dubstep, but still awesome.
I will also try to post up something brand new each week that you havn’t heard before, have no chance of a getting a 320, and probably will never make it out of the top DJs’ record bags.
We can dream though.
Subscape – All Day
First up a tune from Subscape, who’s Time To Escape EP is definitely worth grabbing. You all probably heard “Screw Up” from the same release which has been going around a little while but I love this one too.
A big one from Silkie of Anti-social Entertainment, unreleased as of yet, apparently coming out on Deep Medi but who knows. I hope it does though, I need a full quality version!
For more Silkie check out his recent City Limits 1.2 release (80’s Baby is reccomended listening).
Mala – Education
A man that needs no introduction, one half of DMZ and Dubstep pioneer Mala doing what he does best on his latest release. With Coki – Horrid Henry on the flip this one is a must have, no doubt about it.
Out now on vinyl in your local record shop, and will be getting a full MP3 release soon I have no doubt.
OK so this one isn’t technically dubstep (Future Garage anyone?) but I’m totally in love with the vibe, Dark0 is going places for sure. His free Serotonin EP has 5 amazing tracks, download it and have a listen.
And now for something brand spanking as promised:
Benga – Martian Attack
Taken from his radio show on Rinse FM this week, heres a totally brand new one from Benga, another one of Dubstep’s elite guard. Sorry about the chatter, but please just appreciate the freshness!
Hope you enjoyed the tunes, I will be back next week with more.
