This dude did an amazing MoombahLuv track not so long ago, which is the first track in this mighty fine selection:

Here’s some other really good shit and this is what he says about it all:

First up is a flip of Blaze’s “Lovelee Dae”, a 1997 house classic that was running in my head recently and I thought I’d go in and see if it could get touched. End result as follows:

Next is an edit of Wynter Gordon’s dance hit “Dirty Talk” that was huge last year. The original was w/ David Guetta and is pretty booty, however the Laidback Luke remix had some much higher points and translated real well for the big club sets. I took it down to a cool 110, played around with some stuff and ended up making a few different mixes, including a “carnival” version with TOK’s ‘Galang Gal’ acapella and some extra yard vibes. 124 bpm and 110-124 transition mixes in there as well.

One By One” is a huge new single from pop star Laza Morgan (Sean Kingston-esque) ft. the gully gawd Mavado.  The original actually has some pretty dope production, kinda on some 80’s rnb, however the chorus is pretty tough on the cheddar…. I went in and touched it up with Shalamar’s “There It Is” and just kept the “one by one” hook.  Should prove to be very effective on dancefloors this summer.  Hit the soundcloud link after the jump and plz leave me some feedback on these free tunes!!  Original blast below this one. Much respect to all of you.

On a total side note, have you slid thru Large Up yet? Large Up is a premier Caribbean lifestyle site that goes in depth and behind the scenes into some really unique, exclusive and fresh new territory. I’ve been lucky to be one of 5 regular contributors for the site alongside such good company as the FADER’s Eddie Stats, Jesse Serwer, and founders DJ Gravy and Martei Korley.  We’ve had some serious guest contributors and exclusive webisodes as well from the likes of Diplo, Natalie Storm, Jillionaire, Gabriel Heatwave, 77 Klash, Collie Buddz & mas. Peep the most recent webisode w/ Diplo shot in Kingston here. The world premiere of my single w/ Jahdan Blakkamoore dropped on LU as well, give that a go here. Also, I’ve recently been handling the ‘Mixtape Mondays’ column, so if you or any of your folks have any good Caribbean-inspired mixes def send them my way so I can feature them on the site!

I recently returned from a pretty stellar April tour, touching down in New England, Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Seattle and back to SF.  I’d just like to thank anybody that was involved with helping to make that happen, I had such an amazing time rocking out and goin dumb with all of you.  Can’t wait for the next one.  I’ll be laying kinda low with shows at the moment, but I’m definitely available for bookings so reach out to the kid if you’re interested in having me.  This weekend I’ll be in Boston for the Fresh Produce party, definitely looking forward to shutting it down and bringing some vibes back to the Bean.

Fresh Produce @ Good Life | More info pon Facebook

I’ll be joined by moombahton man Skinny Friedman (Philadelphyinz) and no doubt we’ll be running plenty of of the stuff, plus whatever else we’re feeling to get people nice and rowdy.  If you’re in the Boston area come get down and spill some drinks with us.
