Absolutely love what this dude does with Moombahton, definitely one of my current fave Moombah producers.

If you like Obeyah and Sabo Moombah then you’ll really dig this too.  This is the mature sound of Moombah and certified dance floor destroyers in one of those slow/build sets that get bodies sweaty and girls delirious!

One of the Moombah EP’s of 2011 thus far for me, it is SUPREME, just LOVE it!

Supremo EP by Tactic

Here’s the PR spiel:

Portland Oregon via Kansas City dj & producer Ben Tactic brings some thick tropical vibes with his new Supremo EP on Think 2wice Records. Both tracks are firmly rooted in moombahton, the much talked about new dance music genre that fuses elements of reggaeton, cumbia, dancehall and Dutch house. The title track, Supremo, fuses the traditional dem bow drum patterns found in moombahton with a classic b-boy sax sample and percolating synths. The second track on the release, Coroa de Ouro (Crown of Gold), is built around a sample of children singing in Portuguese.

Ben Tactic is best known as 1/2 of the dj & production duo Tactic along with Brent Tactic. Their remixes and original productions have been released on labels such as Mad Decent, Dress 2 $weat (Numbers), Palms Out Sounds, Slit Jockey and their own label Think 2wice. Ben also helps run the ground breaking club night Bubblin in Portland that has featured the regional debut of artists such as Roska, Dave Nada, Ramadanman, Kyle Hall, Nguzunguzu, Distal and Dre Skull.
