Suspension of Disbelief (EP), is out (June-20-11) by my good hommie Omega (Chris Cox) and it is electric!! Prepare for some serious speaker shocking. Omega hits some extremely complex basslines in this one. Great concept and structure drifting from drumstep, dubstep, dnb and pure bass frequencies. My favorite pick is probably Without Control because the sample on it and break that follows is just sick! No repeating loops here, Omega continues to build and destroy the concept of each track from start to end keeping it alive. Hope you enjoy it and support this growing artist.

Here’s what the Label wrote about him and the release:

On Top of many singles and remixes, and following his Inception/Diencephalon EP on Dubanimals, Suspension Of Disbelief on Tycho Records is Omega’s second solo release of the year.

Omega is a Bass Music producer from Denver, Colorado. Coming from a varied background starting in Big Beat, IDM and industrial, moving through Jungle, Breaks, Psy-trance and more Omega finally found his home in the Dubstep and Bass music scene.

In th.e last few years Omega has taken off, remixing for legends, The Crystal Method Feat. LMFAO. Releasing on well established labels such as Simplify Recordings, and having an intensive touring schedule, this man has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon.

Omega’s raw and aggressive style pulls through on this new release which features 2 snarling Dubstep tracks and a heavy Drumstep tune.
“False Vacuum” opens off the EP with a heavy, grimey industrial sound. “Suspension Of Disbelief” comes in next which features some amazing broken beat rhythm and some extremely psychedelic break downs before launching back into the aggressive throw back bass lines. The third and last tracks ends the EP in what is possibly one of the best Drumstep tunes I have ever heard “Without Control” is ready to throw the crowd into a moshing frenzy.

Suspension Of Disbelief is currently available as a exclusive, and an exclusive. The singles are available on Beatport but the Addictech release is the whole EP only. Singles will be available on Addictech as well as iTunes, JunoDownload and lots more on July 4th, 2011.
