In my finest Attenborough voice, I saw this and just knew I had to blog it.  I luv the concept, sounds and the originality. This is just GREAT!

El Buho‘s ‘A Guide to the Birds of South America‘ EP is the first digital release from global music blog Rhythm ‘n’ Roots. The EP was inspired by a simple idea: take recorded birdsong samples and use them as a base around which to construct a track. Thus we present five birds and five unique tracks combining steaming tropical rhythms, Amazonian melodies, howling owls and screeching quetzals. This EP is strictly Amazonian and strictly tropical.
