Here’s what he says: and Pramod Films present From Brooklyn with Love, a mixtape produced and curated by Brooklyn Shanti as a companion to the summer romantic comedy Bollywood smash film,From Sydney with Love.

Featuring appearances by Afrika Bambaataa, Geechi Suede of Camp Lo, Thornato, Sierra Carrère, Mandeep Sethi, Sohail Sen, A-Live and many more – the release marks the first official fusion of Brooklyn New York’s vibrant Tropical/Global bass and hip-hop scenes with mainstream Bollywood.

Brooklyn Shanti is a veteran emcee/producer who first gained international acclaim as a member of the Dum Dum Project. Since emerging as a key taste maker producer and DJ splitting his time between Brooklyn, London and Bombay – Brooklyn Shanti has gone on to collaborate as a producer and emcee with legendary musicians and visual artists. He has also been busy curating exhibits worldwide in regards to South Asian involvement in popular Western culture. Brooklyn Shanti will spend the remainder of 2012 touring the world, promoting his label and various projects, in addition to filming for his first Bollywood roles.
