Zouk Bass is alive and stronger than ever as our recent Banginclude EP demonstrated. Add to that, this great new EP from Photo Romance.

2 wikkid tracks showcasing Photo Romance’s signature on the Zouk Bass sound, this is lethal big room stuff from the Twilight Zone.

La Brousse is very happy to come back after some months of radio silence with a fresh new EP. For this special occasion we decided to give a 24 hours FREE download before to officially release it on our Bandcamp page.

Witchboard is a zouk bass flavored opus composed of two tracks, which flirts with Brussels based producer Photo Romance’s favorite theme: the occult.

Photo Romance, who founded La Brousse in January 2014, took some new directions this year and has showcased his interest in many other genres than his classic moombahton tracks through “Tarracho Therapy” – his first EP on La Brousse, “Bota Na Cara” – a track released on Funk Na Caixa’s Rasterinha Volume 2, “Bring Back The Dead” – a electronic mid-tempo global bass single released on Cocobass Records, and his Gappy Ranks remix – which received a very warm welcome.

The album single and eponym track, “Witchboard,” is a high-energy bassy track with a hypnotic and catchy “snake charmer” flute lead. Rollin at 90 bpm, you can expect some massive drums and percussions, as well as some rich “soundtrack” and electronic elements that build its eery and attractive atmosphere.

The second track of the EP, “Possessao,” is a mean track built around a massive brass sample. Starting with a bubbling intro, the song will take you from some dancehall flavored passages into some unexpected electronic bridges. As efficient as the main single, Possessao will definitely make you break a leg or two and SHAKE DEM TAILS!

Whether you want to bust a move or desperately try to summon evil forces, “Witchboard” will definitely finish its road on your laptop!

Spirit spirit, are you here!?
