Shadia Mansour has been known for some time in the London Underground Arabic music scene and is rightfully regarded as the “The first Lady of Arabic Hip Hop”.
I can’t believe I haven’t done a post on her before as I’ve been a big admirer of her musical stance for some time and I was also in touch with her some years ago, pre-Generation Bass, about a proposed project! Better late than never, I guess!
Shadia is a British born artist with Christian, Palestinian origins and she is quite vocal about Middle Eastern politics.
