Búho Ermitaño are a band from Lima, Peru. They create spaced out stoner rock and I’ve really been feeling this kind of vibe lately. So it’s weird how they knew that and approached me with this their official debut album which is mighty fine.

Shades of Explosions in the Sky, Sonic Youth, Santana, Hendrix, Tangerine Dream and Pink Floyd all over this and EPIC long tracks too!

Mos def worth your time exploring and downloading this brilliant album!

Búho Ermitaño was formed in 2008 by Franz Núñez and Diego Pando.

In the late 2009, after a long search process and musical exploration, Irving integrates the band, and later, in 2012 Leonardo Pando.

After constant changes in the process of formalization, Juan Camba (drums) and Ale Borea (percussion) consolidated the band in 2014. This album was recorded in March during two sessions with Aldo Castillejos participation, special guest in one of these.
