David Bowie will be sorely missed by millions for years to come. You’ve read all the personal tributes, goodbyes and obituaries the past day or so all over the internet on blogs, mags and on the telly.
I’m not going to go into a huge spiel about what David Bowie meant to me or about how he cool he was when he was hanging out with my friends. I will just say this though, he did some life changing stuff that had a huge impact and influence upon me, he did some ok stuff which was pretty bland and he also did some really questionable stuff which was pretty awful. But what I loved about him most was that he didn’t really give a fuck, he did what he wanted to do. The greatest thing of all is that he did things first and kept on evolving and changing and took risks unafraid of their success or failure. And, that there will never be another Bowie!
